1060 Aluminum Disc Circle

What is 1060 aluminum round sheet

1060 aluminum discs are pure aluminum discs with a purity of over 99.6%. They possess excellent plasticity and high ductility, allowing for easy deep drawing, stamping, and spinning processes without easily cracking or deforming. They also exhibit outstanding thermal and electrical conductivity and good corrosion resistance.

Due to these comprehensive performance advantages, they are widely used in the civilian kitchenware industry, serving as the base material for non-stick pans, saucepans, milk pots, baking trays, pressure cooker bases, and other kitchen utensils. They are also widely compatible with lighting reflectors, electronic heat dissipation components, food packaging container lids, small hardware decorative parts, and lightweight automotive parts.

Most common tempers

1. 1060-O Aluminum Circle

The preferred choice for deep drawing, spinning, and cookware production. It is soft, highly formable, and less likely to crack during processing.

2. 1060 H14 Aluminum Circle

A widely used medium-hard temper for general stamping, lampshades, signs, and light forming applications.

3.1060 H18 Aluminum Circle

Used where higher hardness is needed and deep drawing is not required, such as traffic signs, reflector blanks, and flat circular components.

Application

  • Cookware: pots, pans, kettles, lids, baking trays

  • Lighting: lamp shades, reflectors, LED housings

  • Traffic signs and sign blanks

  • Kitchen utensils: bowls, trays, pizza pans, molds

  • Electrical parts: capacitor cases, heat sinks, enclosures

  • Decorative items: covers, nameplates, ceiling parts

  • Deep-drawn or spun containers and housings

Quality control

Our 1060 aluminum circles are carefully inspected throughout the production process to ensure stable quality and consistent performance. We control the chemical composition, thickness, diameter, surface finish, flatness, and mechanical properties of each batch.

Key quality checks include:

  • Accurate diameter and thickness tolerance

  • Smooth, clean surface with no scratches, dents, oil stains, or edge cracks

  • Good flatness and roundness

  • Cleanly cut edges without burrs

  • Consistent temper and hardness for deep drawing, spinning, or stamping

  • Reliable chemical composition meeting 1060 aluminum standards

  • Final inspection and packaging checks before shipment

Customization options

  • We support custom manufacturing of all grades of aluminum discs, including 1050, 1060, 3003, and 5052.

  • We can precisely control dimensional parameters according to customer drawings and requirements, with tolerances strictly adhering to foreign trade and industrial processing standards.

  • Surface finishes include smooth, brushed, coated, polished, and rust-proof coatings.

  • Packaging can be customized as needed (moisture-proof wooden pallets, waterproof stretch film, export fumigated wooden crates), suitable for long-distance sea freight.

  • We provide a one-stop customized service for FOB quotations, material certificates, test reports, and supporting export documentation.

FAQ

1. Why is 1060 aluminum suitable for cookware?

1060 aluminum has good heat conductivity, corrosion resistance, and forming ability. It is easy to deep draw, spin, and stamp into cookware shapes.

2. What tempers are available?

Common tempers include O, H12, H14, H16, H18, and H24. The O temper is usually preferred for deep drawing and spinning.

3. Can 1060 aluminum circles be deep drawn?

Yes. Soft-temper 1060 aluminum circles, especially O temper, have excellent deep-drawing and spinning performance.

4. What sizes are available?

Diameter, thickness, and weight can usually be customized. Common thicknesses range from about 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm, depending on the application.

5. Are the edges smooth?

High-quality aluminum circles are produced with smooth, burr-free edges to help prevent cracking during forming and processing.

6. Can the surface be coated or treated?

Yes. The circles can be anodized, painted, polished, brushed, coated, or used as a base material for non-stick cookware coatings.

7. How are 1060 aluminum circles packaged?

They are usually packed with protective paper or film, placed on wooden pallets, and secured to prevent scratches, moisture damage, and deformation during transport.
