Food Grade Aluminum Circle for Cookware

What is food grade aluminum circle

It must comply with national standards and relevant international certifications for food contact metal materials. The materials are mostly pure aluminum/aluminum alloys such as 1060 and 3003, possessing characteristics such as no harmful leaching, acid and alkali resistance, and easy formability. The surface must be clean and free of impurities, with no risk of coating peeling.

Strict control over rolling, cleaning, and stamping processes is required during production to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface flatness, meeting the sealing and safe use standards for food containers.

They are widely used in the manufacture of cookware, aluminum tableware, baking molds, beverage bottle caps, and are also suitable for the stamping and forming of disposable food aluminum foil containers.

Alloys

1050 Pure Aluminum: As a high-purity aluminum base material, it features excellent corrosion resistance, no harmful substances released upon contact with food, excellent formability, being easily stamped and stretched into small kitchen utensil accessories such as ladles and spatulas. Its surface is easy to coat and polish, suitable for lightweight small kitchenware processing.

1060 Pure Aluminum: Superior plasticity to 1050, it has no cracks during stamping and stretching, moderate temperature resistance, and sufficient strength for conventional kitchenware processing. It is the preferred material for mainstream kitchenware blanks such as woks, frying pans, and saucepans, and can be used with various surface treatments such as hard anodizing and wire drawing, suitable for large-scale production.

3003 Aluminum Alloy: An aluminum-manganese rust-resistant alloy with strength far exceeding that of pure aluminum. It has outstanding rust resistance and resistance to thermal shock, and is not easily deformed due to cooking temperature differences. Suitable for making medium to large-sized kitchenware such as saucepans, steamers, and pressure cooker inner pots. After forming, it has a stable structure and enhanced durability.

5052 aluminum alloy: An aluminum-magnesium alloy, it is a high-strength aluminum alloy for kitchenware. It has excellent corrosion resistance, deformation resistance, and wear resistance. It can withstand high-temperature cooking and outdoor use environments. It is suitable for hard anodizing, fluorocarbon coating and other strengthening treatments. It is often used in high-temperature cooking cookware, outdoor kitchenware and other categories with high durability requirements.

Surface treatments

Plain aluminum disc: Without any surface treatment, it has good machinability, fast heat conduction, and low production cost. It is suitable for mass production of basic, affordable kitchen utensils. Its direct and efficient heat conduction meets basic daily cooking needs.

Color coated aluminum circle: The aluminum discs are coated with a food-grade colored coating, providing basic corrosion and oxidation resistance, rich colors, strong decorative appeal, and good formability. Compared to ordinary aluminum discs, they are more resistant to dirt, easier to clean, moderately priced, and less complex than anodizing processes.

This product enhances the quality of kitchenware, isolates aluminum from food and stains, and is suitable for making mid-to-high-end household cookware and kitchenware decorative parts.

Anodized aluminum discs: Anodizing forms a dense and hard oxide film, followed by colored coating. This results in a product that is wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, has strong adhesion, excellent resistance to high and low temperatures, and superior resistance to acids, alkalis, and salts, ensuring food contact safety. It combines a metallic texture with a colorful appearance, exhibits stable performance, and is resistant to fading and peeling even after long-term use.

In terms of application, durability and safety are maximized, making it suitable for high-end, frequently used cookware. It has a long service life, aligning with the brand's positioning as a high-end cookware provider.
